Allen Hulsey

Allen Hulsey is a New York-born musician, singer, and multi-instrumentalist renowned for blending electronic music with ethnic instruments. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has performed globally, including at events like Burning Man and venues such as Scorpios Mykonos. 

Hulsey's musical style incorporates instruments like the bağlama and kanun, reflecting his extensive time spent in Turkey. He is also known for his project Monality, which fuses electronic dance music with blues and Turkish folk/classical music. 

In recent years, Hulsey has integrated the MIDI Pro 2 guitar into his performances, utilizing its capabilities to control software like Ableton Live. This instrument allows him to blend traditional guitar techniques with modern electronic sounds, enhancing his live improvisations.
