Serial No. 475 - First Edition MIDI Pro Core
This is where it all began.
Serial No. 475 is the very first completed MIDI Pro Core instrument, a sleek, stealth-black, one-off guitar that established the foundation for the entire MIDI Pro Core line. Built entirely by hand in Ireland, it carries the full DNA of the MIDI Pro Series in its purest, most direct form.
This is not a concept or experiment. It is a fully functional, professional instrument, and the original reference from which all MIDI Pro Core guitars evolved.
Serial No. 475 features a scratch plate. Most photos show it fitted, but you can choose to receive the guitar with or without it.
(For photography, the screws were set in place. If shipped with the plate, they will be fully secured.)
Advanced MIDI Pro tracking in Pick Mode and Tap Mode
Seamless integration with the MIDI Pro Editor for Mac and iPad (free download on the App Store)
Dedicated MIDI Volume and Analog Volume controls for complete flexibility
Seymour Duncan bridge pickup, switchable between series and parallel wiring via a sleek black metal toggle
As the very first MIDI Pro Core, Serial No. 475 includes design details found only on this instrument. The LCD is mounted flat to the body, a layout used exclusively on this First Edition. While less visible during performance, all parameters are fully accessible through the MIDI Pro Editor, which many players prefer for detailed setup and adjustment.
These early design decisions give Serial No. 475 a distinct identity and a story that will never be repeated.
The signature 24-fret neck with a Grade A Ebony fretboard delivers the fast, precise, effortless feel expected from every ROR instrument. It is smooth, responsive, and inspiring, whether you are playing traditional guitar parts or pushing deep into expressive MIDI control.
Serial No. 475 is not just another guitar.
It is the first chapter in the MIDI Pro Core story, rare, intentional, and ready to make music.
